WEST COAST ANDASIBE Tour ( without Tsiribihina River )
Day 1 : AEROPRT – TRANSFERT To HOTEL
– Arrive at Antananarivo airport (Ivato) and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 : ANTANANARIVO – ANDASIBE
-Depart for Andasibe, stopping at Madagascar Exotic Reserve Peyrieras near Marovezo, a private park of reptiles and amphibians.
Nocturnal visit to see the night wildlife (including the nocturnal lemurs, sleeping chameleons, and nocturnal frogs, etc…)
Overnight in Feony’ala Hotel or similar.
Day 3 : ANDASIBE (Indri Park)
– In the morning, visit Analamazaotra park or Mantadia park to spot and observe the famous and magnificent Indri-indri (the largest lemur in the world). Enjoy these and other lemurs, birds and tropical plants, etc.
– In the afternoon, visit lsland of Lemurs and the crocodiles at Vakona private reserve.

Day 4 : ANDASIBE – ANTSIRABE
– Stop at the town of Ambatolampy to visit an aluminum fabrication workshop.
– Afternoon : tour the town of Antsirabe, the market and the local craftspeople.
Overnight at a hotel in Antsirabe.
Day 5 : ANTSIRABE – MORONDAVA
– Visit the volcanic lakes (Lake of Sacred Tritriva and Lake Andraikiba). Afterwards, depart in the direction of Morondava on the west coast.
Day 6 : MORONDAVA
-Morning : excursion with a pirogue (small canoe) in the mangrove forest and visit a fishing village near Betania. (Beach etc)
Afternoon : visit the “baobab of love” and the famous “alley” of large baobab trees for viewing and to watch the sunset.
Overnight in a hotel in Morondava.
Day 7 : MORONDAVA – BEKOPAKA
– Depart by 4-wheel drive for thw villages of Belo sur Tsiribihina and Bekopaka (and Park Tsingy Bemaraha)
– cross 2 rivers by ferry – Tsiribihina and Manambolo.
Overnight at a hotel in Bekopaka.
Day 8 : VISIT PARK TSINGY BEMARAHA
– Morning – Depart early by car for 1h to the parking place before enter at the Grand Tsingy site (“Big Tsingy”) .
– walk in the forest and don a safety harness to do a small amount of climbing among the pinnacles (with the aid of in-place steps and cables) to reach the summit at 80 to 100m with magnificent views of the forest of pointed rocks (UNESCO site, unique in the world)
– Afternoon : car back from Grand Tsingy (Big Tsingy ) and 2 hour visit to “Petit Tsingy de Bemaraha” (Little Tsingy”).
– Little Tsingy is easier walking than Big Tsingy with the summit being only 15 or 20 m high.
Overnight as above.
Day 9 : BEKOPAKA – KIRINDY PARC (Dry Forest)
– Depart for Kirindy park (a forest rearch station nesr Antimena).
– short night walk to discover nocturnal lemurs, chameleons, etc…
Overnight at a hotel in the park.
Day 10 : KIRINDY – MORONDAVA
– Morning – 2 hour visit to the park to seek and locate “fossa” – the famous endemic western Madagascar carnivore, and and also species of lemurs (including Fulvus) and Sifaka Dekeni, and many bird and plant species.
Afternoon : Return to Morondava, with vsit the famous loving baobab and passing “baobab alley” again.
Overnight in a hotel in Morondava.
Days 11 and 12 : MORONDAVA, Or BELO SUR MER
– Relax at the beach near Morondava or at Belo sur Mer.
NB : It is a 3 hour trip by 4×4 or with a motorboat from between Morondava and Belo sur Mer.
Overnight as above.
Day 13 : MORONDAVA – ANTANANARIVO
– Transfer to the airport to fly to Antananarivo (Ivato).
– Transfer and overnight at your hotel.
Day 14 : ANTANANARIVO – CITY TOUR
– Visit the city accompanied by a local guide who knows the history of Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar.
– overnight at your hotel / or transfer to the airport for your flight home.
